Newspaper Drive – To encourage children to recycle old newspaper
Did you know over one third of all waste that goes to landfill is waste paper?

is always has been a growing problem of waste management. There is a large amount of our beautiful natural forest land which is cut down each year to supply our need for paper. It has been estimated that recycling half the world’s paper would avoid the cutting down of 20 million acres (81,000 km²) of forestland.
They also drew posters and wrote slogans on the paper bags they created and also distributed them to the school cafeteria and book stores to spread awareness about the 3 R’s.
In Term I, we reduced the use of paper and worksheets.
